On the 11th of Sept 2021 my mum and first super hero suffered her first stroke. It was a huge shock to all our family and friends. When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. My brother and I will be planning on running 50miles through Sept for the Stroke Association. The Stroke Association specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community.
