Story
A group of us from Weston Rock Choir are doing a midnight walk to raise money for Weston Hospice. The Hospice is close to our hearts as some of our relatives and close friends have had amazing support through the hospice and they do wonderful work. They only have 20% of funding coming from the NHS and have to raise £4 million each year to fund the wonderful care that they give to their patients and their relatives - something that's only made possible by our community. Receiving an end-of-life diagnosis can be difficult, not just for the patient but also for their loved ones. At Weston Hospicecare, our team of palliative care experts is dedicated to working together to provide specialist support. Our social, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and physical care helps guide people through one of the most difficult experiences they will ever face.
So a group of us decided we would try and help by doing what we could to raise some money.
