Walking is definitely NOT my thing! But on 7th July I'm going to join in with a Charity Walk being organised by Tonbridge Lions Club, and walk 10 miles in memory of my lovely mum who lost her battle with cancer in 2022.

Mum was always looking for ways to help other people, and even during her illness, she was trying to work out how to help others going through what she was going through. As a result, Babons Cancer Support Charity was born!

Walking 10 miles will be something I won't find at all easy, but cancer wasn't easy for mum, so I'm going to give it my best shot. The reason for doing this is to do what mum really wanted to do, and help others impacted by cancer. Every penny raised will be used to support the Cancer community of Tonbridge.

Even if you can only afford the cost of a coffee, that will help the charity provide a hot drink for someone needing time and a listening ear.
