I am raising money for the Alzheimer's Society by running the Manchester Half Marathon in May. It's a cruel disease that chips away at your memory, creates confusion and disorientation. Some still remember family members however others are not so blessed and live a life where all their memories have been erased.

This charity gives help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
