As some of you will know, this August will mark 10 years since my brother Brad was tragically killed in a RTC. Brad was leading a promising life filled with opportunities that was cruelly cut short.

I’ve always had the idea of running a marathon and raising money in Brad’s memory. After some research I discovered that the Helsinki marathon falls on the 24th of August. This the date of the anniversary itself.

I have decided to raise money for Diabetes Isle of Man. This charity helped Brad and my family massively after Brads diagnosis whilst on holiday in Cyprus in 2009. They reassured and helped Brad live a normal life after his diagnosis.

My biggest fear was people forgetting about my brother, so I hope by doing this his memory will live on. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
