Story
Hi I’m Liv and before you read on, this is a reminder to be kind, because you truly don’t know everyone’s story.
Around 6,000 people a year die from suicide (in the UK alone). That averages around 16 people a day.
As May is mental health awareness month, I want to not only talk about it to help others, but to raise money for the one of the UK’s leading mental health charities - ‘MIND’.
I am going to be doing a deadlift challenge:
16 reps of 60kg every 16 mins for 16 hours.
27th May starting at 6pm and finishing 28th May 10am.
Any donations would be hugely appreciated and all proceeds will go to MIND, in order to help them support those in need and combat the ever growing suicide rate.
Powerlifting is the sport that quite literally saved my life and has given me a purpose each day, so I wanted to include this in my fundraiser and to physically put myself through it, to help those that are struggling mentally.
I am determined to help make a difference and this is just the start of that.
My messages are always open to anyone who needs it. It really is okay not to be okay.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page, any sponsor / donation would really mean so much to me.
From someone that wasn’t sure they would still be here, please know, it does get better.
Thank you🤍
