Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

In November last year, my dad experienced a severe heart attack that led to a life-saving quintuple heart bypass surgery. It was an incredibly difficult time for me and my family mentally, as we faced the uncertainty of my dad's condition and watched him spend weeks in the hospital over the festive period. This experience highlighted the importance of heart health and the incredible work done by organisations like the British Heart Foundation, without charities like these the outcome for my dad could have been very different.

On the 13th of October, I will be running the Manchester Half Marathon to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in honor of my dad and to support their ongoing research and efforts in combating heart disease.

This cause is deeply personal to me and l am determined to make a difference. The funds raised will go towards vital research, education, and support for those affected by heart conditions. Every donation, no matter the size, will help save lives and improve the quality of life for heart patients and their families.

Any donations to my JustGiving page will be greatly appreciated!

Your support will not only motivate me to complete the race but also contribute to a future where heart disease can be better treated and prevented.

Thank you for your generosity and support!
