Hi everyone! I’ll be running (and hopefully completing) the London Marathon 2025 in aid of Shelter. Shelter exists to defend the families being made homeless and forced into temporary accommodation, which has left more than 131,000 children without a proper home. This has lasting impacts on their education and health.

I'm not a runner so I’ve got a big challenge ahead! I’ve linked my Strava so people can follow along with my training which I’ll be properly starting in December.

£12 could enable Shelter’s Legal Team to call a social landlord and fight to save a home

£18 could pay for an expert to save someone confronted with imminent eviction and the loss of their home that provides safety and stability to their lives

£29 could fund an emergency call to Shelter’s helpline, giving a family a fighting chance in the face of homelessness

£60 could pay for legal representation in a court hearing for someone facing homelessness, giving them detailed advocacy, speaking up and amplifying their voice

£245 could pay for an advisor to help someone resolve a difficult housing issue, giving them peace of mind in their own home

£3,600 could fund Shelter’s emergency helpline across the entire country, answering, on average, 125 calls a day and providing life-changing advice
