Our mission is to stop men dying by suicide and we believe death by suicide is preventable. Yet, in the UK suicide is still the single leading cause of death of men under 50. At James’ Place, we provide proven, professional therapy for men in suicidal crisis to help them find hope for the future.

Story

In February 2023, our friend Jordan Berry lost his life to suicide - he was 28.

Bez was a close friend to us all. We each got to know him in Verbier over the winters, so it was incredibly upsetting to hear of such a tragedy. We all miss him very much.

Our goal is to raise money and awareness for men’s mental health by cycling from Jordan's childhood football team stadium - Anfield, Liverpool - to Verbier - Switzerland in 8 days, averaging over 180km per day. This will be a momentous challenge for a rather amateur cycling crew, yet the cause is truly worth it.

Bez was a great friend and we hope to honour his memory.

At James' Place, our mission is to stop men dying by suicide. Yet, in the UK suicide is still the single leading cause of death of men under 50. We believe that no man should face a suicidal crisis alone. James' Place provides free, professional therapy for men in suicidal crisis to help them find hope for the future.
