Our wonderful Dad and husband Pat was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2017. It has been a tremendous struggle for him and us as a family especially our Mum who cares for him with so much love and patience. We are grateful Dad is still with us and want to do this walk in his honour and in honour of all of the sufferers of this cruel disease.

As we prepare for the Surrey Memory Walk on September 14, 2024, we are reminded of the staggering impact of dementia in the UK.
