Lots of people are affected by this terrible illness every year. People are taken away from loved ones too soon. Having lost my Nan earlier this year to dementia myself and my sister with a group of friends have decided to take part in the trek26 event.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
