Story
Floss and Jo are donning our walking boots and taking on the Trek26 Cotswolds challenge, walking 26 miles in support of the Alzheimer's Society.
Alzheimer's has touched our lives deeply over the last three years since my lovely mum, Ann was diagnosed. During that time, we have witnessed first-hand the devastating impact this disease has, not only on the person living with it but on the whole family.
It's hard to imagine what it must feel like to gradually lose memories, struggle to recognise people, and find it difficult to express your thoughts and feelings. Simple conversations about what you did today or what you hope to do tomorrow can become impossible. Mum continues to face these challenges every single day with courage and determination.
We are taking on this 26-mile challenge in honour of Mum and the millions of people affected by dementia. By raising money for the Alzheimer's Society, we hope to support the vital research, advice and services that help families like ours navigate this difficult journey.
We're walking for our mum, our grandma, and for a future where no family has to watch a loved one disappear piece by piece to this cruel disease.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and would mean so much to us. Thank you for your support.
