In late Nov 2022 we sadly lost my Step Mum (Pru Moore) to Cancer. True to her nature she fought hard for nearly 4 years - far exceeding the "less than 18 months" diagnosis from the Doctors.

Seeing her health decline towards the end was really hard; it was a stark reminder that life is finite and that we should get out there and live it to the max. This was my inspiration for a Summer 2023 adventure!

The 1906 Hour Golf Challenge was my idea, but to be honest it's really all Ryan Reynolds fault (Yes that Ryan Reynolds). You can read the full story here: [It's All Ryan Reynolds' Fault]

'The Challenge' is going to be a fun personal adventure but I also want to use it as an opportunity to raise a crazy £100K split between the 2 charities that did so much for Pru (St.Peter & St.James Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support).

Macmillan were there for Pru as she went through several rounds of treatments at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. They also have a wonderful peaceful 'Support' facility nearby that family members can utilise whilst treatments are taking place with.
