Dear friends and supporters,

I can't easily describe to you just how special my friend, Sarah (and her family), is. She's the best of us all. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer I can only imagine what that moment was like for her. But for me, I felt desperate and a bit lost at the idea of someone so warm, so kind, and full of love, being isolated and frightened in a way that we could do nothing about. But there is something we can do. We can fill her with love as she beats cancers, we can make it clear that we're standing with her every step of the way, we can show the world just how brilliant she is, we can help her realise that she can win against cancer, and that cancer doesn't have to change her, we can lift her spirits and help her fight her way to recovery, with love and kindness all the way. Anyway, now that personal stuff's out the way, here's what you need to know-

We, at 1Drive, are coming together as a team on a sponsored walk from Southsea to Gosport to raise funds for Macmillan in support to our friend and colleague, also, mother, wife, friend, role model, and all round number one person, who is facing the challenge of breast cancer. The journey she is about to undertake with her treatment begins in February, and we want to surround her with the strength and support she deserves.

Cancer is a battle that touches so many lives, and as a united team, we want to make a difference. The funds we raise will contribute to easing the financial burden of medical expenses, providing emotional support, and contributing towards research for a future free from this disease.

Your generosity will not only support our colleague but will also send a powerful message of solidarity and hope. Let's walk together, step by step, towards a happier and healthier world.

The walk- 1Walk, is an open event spanning almost 20 miles from Southsea to the Gosport ferry and will include a couple of pitstops on the way! All are welcome.
