Hi, my name is Corey and I am raising money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

Throughout the FIFA World Cup, I have set myself a challenge where I will run 1 kilometre for every goal scored. This means that every day I will be adding up the goals from the previous day’s matches and completing the equivalent distance.

As many of my friends and family know, running is not something that comes naturally to me, so this challenge will push me both physically and mentally over the course of the tournament.

I have set an initial fundraising target of £250, and every donation, no matter how big or small, will go towards helping Alder Hey continue the incredible work they do for children and families across the UK.

Alongside this challenge, my football team, Wavertree Botanicals, are also taking part in a charity football tournament supporting Alder Hey, making this a cause that is very close to our hearts.
