Sam & Katy’s “Swim a Mile a Day in May” Challenge!
Ready, Set, SPLASH! Katy, our fearless Refuge Manager, and Sam, the CEO with a heart of gold, are diving headfirst into a 1-mile-a-day swim challenge for the whole month of May. That’s 31 miles each – no shortcuts, just pure determination!
But here’s the kicker: they’re not just swimming for fun (although, let’s be real, they’re totally making a splash). They’re swimming to raise funds and awareness for Pathway Project and the amazing survivors we support.
Why Are We Doing This?
Domestic abuse isn’t just a headline – it’s happening around us all the time. 1 in 4 women, 20% of kids – it’s happening in your street, your workplace, maybe even in the home next door. It’s everywhere, even when you can’t see it.
And guess what? Survivors don’t get a break from it. It’s relentless. So, we’re putting in the hard yards – swimming 1 mile a day to show that we’ll keep pushing for them, just like they keep pushing through their struggles.
How You Can Help:
We’re making waves, and you can too! Every penny raised goes directly to Pathway Project, helping survivors reclaim their lives and thrive. Whether you donate a little or a lot, your support keeps us swimming toward a future of safety and hope.
