1RRF Channel Relay Swim for Fusiliers Aid Society

Keeley Lloyd-Janes is raising money for Fusiliers Aid Society

1RRF Channel Relay Swim 2025 · 6 July 2025

To provide assistance to serving or former members of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, including widows and dependents, who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own. We also help Fusiliers and their famillies who are bereaved, wounded or ill. Grants are made to individuals.

Story

Labelled the ‘Everest’ of swims, a team of Fusiliers will take on the challenge of swimming the width of the English Channel. This will see a team of 7 following a training plan, adapting their bodies to cold temperatures and open water swimming. The goal is to complete this within 16 hours.

We will be the first mixed infantry team ever to complete the swim.

We will be swimming for the Fusiliers Aid Society.

The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Aid Society (FAS) is the Regimental benevolent and welfare fund of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and its antecedent Regiments. FAS helps all Fusiliers, regardless of rank, serving and retired, and their families and dependants when they are in hardship or need.

Thank you in advance for your support.
