At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

In May 2026, we'll be cycling a joint distance of 2000km (equivalent to the distance from London to Casablanca!) for Alzheimer's Society.

The scale of dementia is staggering:

Over 55 million people worldwide are currently living with dementia, and that figure is expected to rise to 139 million by 2050, with so many also living without a diagnosis.

Alzheimer's Society works to support people living with dementia, as well as their families and carers, while driving better awareness, care, and research worldwide.

If you’re able to support - by donating (link to our JustGiving page in the comments!), sharing this post, or simply starting a conversation about dementia - it would be hugely appreciated.
