About our charity of the year:

Since they were founded in 1968, Shelter Scotland has been at the forefront of the battle for affordable, decent housing in Scotland. Their mission is to defend the right to a safe home and fight the devastating impact the housing emergency has on people and society.

Here are some sobering statistics that we learned during our talk 👇

- Every 16 minutes a household becomes homeless in Scotland.

- In 2022-23 16,263 children in households were assessed as homeless or threatened with homelessness.

- There are currently 110,000 households on local authority housing waiting lists across Scotland.

To help fight homelessness, we're wholeheartedly committed to raising funds for this incredible charity that extends a lifeline to those in need of a place to call home.

Stay tuned for updates on our fundraising activities, and join us in our mission to fight homelessness in Scotland.
