We are Valhalla North Axe Throwing!

We are the UK's Number one independent axe throwing venue.

We are a family run small business based in Co. Durham.

2025 will see us run our 5th annual charity tournament. So far we have raised thousands of pounds for various charities from mental health charities to the NHS blood and Transplant charity.

This year we're raising funds for Dog's First Animal Rescue, a local charity who take in animals of all kinds

Here's a little about Dog's First:

Dogs First Rescue is a small charity (charity number 1198644), with bases in Northumberland and the West of Scotland. - although they rescue and rehome across the UK.

While primarily dealing with dogs in need, cats, birds, small flurries, reptiles and even wildlife have been rescued.

All animals are fostered in homes, and receive any veterinary care needed.

Dogs First receive no external funding, all funds come via fundraising and their supporters.

With a small, but amazing team of volunteers, they won’t leave any animal needing help.

We have been running since 2015, and earlier this year, we completed our 1000th adoption.

We run a pet food bank, to help those who are struggling, to feed their pets..

We also work closely with GPs and social services to foster dogs while owners are in hospital.
