Elevations Credit Union is supporting local, community-based organizations through this year's Shine a Little Light giving campaign. This year's goals are to support teens with gifts and services that reflect their unique needs and wishes, raise awareness of youth-focused nonprofits in our communities, and foster a spirit of giving and connection during the holiday season.

Elevations Credit Union selected Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) because of its mission of providing stabilizing services, innovative programs, and transformative advocacy to strengthen families and create a thriving community. EFAA embodies the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors, with 100+ years of working with local families during times of economic hardship and nearly 600 volunteers supporting its operations.

EFAA's wrap-around services empower families with teens to not only deal with acute, urgent needs but also to strengthen their longer-term resilience. It currently delivers services in the following five programming areas: Basic Needs, Food Bank, Housing, Family Strengthening, and Economic Empowerment. During EFAA's most recent fiscal year, which ended in June 2025, they served more than 3,000 households - representing nearly 8,000 individuals, including nearly 2,800 children and youth.
