100 Push Ups for 21 Days for T21 inspired by my son, Zayyan

Manvir Juttla is raising money for Down Syndrome UK | Positive About Down Syndrome

Push Up Challenge · 25 October 2026

Down Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a national charity passionate about empowering parents and professionals to improve the lives of those with Down syndrome and their families in the UK.

Story

100 push-ups a day. 21 days. 2,100 push-ups. One very special reason. 💙💛

Our beautiful son Zayyan was diagnosed with Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) at birth.

Like many parents receiving that diagnosis, we suddenly found ourselves stepping into a world we knew very little about. There were questions, worries and plenty of emotions.

But Zayyan has completely changed our perspective. He has brought an unbelievable amount of happiness, love and laughter into our lives. Down syndrome is part of him, but it doesn’t define him. He’s our little boy, our superhero, and we wouldn’t change him for the world.

That’s why I’ve decided to put myself through a challenge that I’m fairly sure my arms are going to regret… 😂

For 21 consecutive days, I’ll complete 100 push-ups every day — 2,100 push-ups in total.

I’m raising money for Positive About Down Syndrome (PADS) / Down Syndrome UK, helping them continue supporting expectant and new parents of babies with Down syndrome.

This part means a lot to me. When families first hear the words Down syndrome, having access to positive, accurate information and people who understand can make an enormous difference.

PADS provides support and information to families from the very beginning. JustGiving says £15 can provide a New Baby Positivity Pack to a new or expectant parent, £50 can provide a Makaton course, and £250 can provide resources and training to a maternity unit for a year.

So when I’m struggling through those last few reps each day, I’ll know exactly why I’m doing them.

21 days.

100 push-ups a day.

2,100 push-ups.

For Zayyan. 💙💛

Anything you can donate, however big or small, would mean a huge amount to our family. And if you can’t donate, sharing the page would be massively appreciated.

Thank you. 💙💛
