Freddy's fundraiser for Mind

Freddy Runs is raising money for Mind
In memory of Grace Nevens

22km a day for 22 days · 14 October 2025

We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

On 14th October 2025, I’ll begin one of the toughest challenges yet: running 22km every day for 22 days. The final run will be on 4th November, marking one year since the heartbreaking loss of Grace Nevens, who was just 22 years old.

Grace had recently graduated from Leeds University with a first-class degree in psychology and volunteered with the mental health charity Mind, giving her time to support others who were struggling. She was kind, funny, thoughtful, and deeply loved by her family and friends.

This challenge — 22 for 22 — is my way of honouring Grace’s memory, supporting her family, and raising awareness of the importance of mental health and suicide prevention.

👉 You can support in two ways:

Donate to Mind, a charity close to Grace’s heart.

Join me by running or walking in Grace’s memory, wherever you are.

Every donation, every step, and every share helps keep Grace’s kindness and spirit alive, while also helping Mind to be there for others when they need it most.

Thank you so much for your support. 💛
