In the night from September 8 to 9, 2023, a severe earthquake occurred in the Atlas Mountains in the south of Morocco. Around 2,000 colleagues from the Thermomix/Vorwerk Community who had travelled to Marrakech were also affected by the events. All colleagues experienced the earthquake on site, but fortunately escaped unscathed and with a shock and now safely at home.

The situation in the area directly affected by the earthquake in the Atlas Mountains, on the other hand, remains unclear. However, it is already clear that more than 2,100 people have lost their lives and many more are injured or homeless.

We would like to help as much as we can and we are proud to be raising money to support UNICEF’s vital work for children.
