2488 (Kingswinford) Squadron ATC's squadron song is "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by the Proclaimers. What better way to raise £500 for the RAF Association than all the squadron raise approx £10 each to hit our goal of £500 on behalf of the RAF Association and RAF V50!

Since 2020, more than 2,500 participants have raised over £142,000 to support the RAF Association. Now it’s your turn to take on the challenge.

Organised by serving personnel, this event challenges you to complete 50 miles in just one week. You can cover the miles in whatever manner you see fit such as walking, running, cycling or rowing. The challenge is virtual so you can take part from anywhere in the world. People have taken part all across the UK and in the USA, Canada, Romania, Belgium, the Falkland Islands, Iraq, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Cyprus.

The challenge is on from Monday 27 April 2026 - Sunday 3 May 2026, so there is time for people to get training and get fundraising. You can join the challenge as an individual or why not get a team together and challenge each other too?
