Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Prospect Hospice offers unparalleled end-of-life care services for a community of more than 330,000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and north east Wiltshire. Their vision is for a community where death is no longer a taboo and everyone lives and dies well.

As you probably already know, Hospice funding is precarious and relies largely on donations. Raising the money to keep enough beds open is a huge challenge and means not everyone can benefit from this essential service in their time of greatest need.

8 years ago the musicians of Swindon came together at Immanuel Church on Upham Road for 24 hours to raise over £15 000 for the radiotherapy facilities at Great Western Hospital. Now we are going to do it again for Prospect Hospice, who desperately need help to keep beds open and provide end-of-life care. Come and play, come and sing, just come and listen and buy a cup of tea. Sponsor someone taking part, or just make a donation here. However you contribute, thank you for helping us reach our target. It will make all the difference to someone in difficult times.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
