Story
Hi All,
A group of us have decided to attempt to complete the Lake District 24 Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Huntington's Disease Association for our mate Shaun and in memory of his dad Dave.
In November last year, Shaun was unfortunately diagnosed with Huntington's so we are aiming to raise as much money as possible to go to the Huntington's Disease Association and we will be doing all this whilst also remembering Shaun's dad Dave who sadly passed away from Huntington's in March 2021.
The Huntington's Disease Association supports anyone who is affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. If you would like to learn more about the help they provide please see the link below.
The challenge itself involves climbing 24 of the highest mountains in the Lake District, spread over two days, taking in a total of 35 miles of walking with 13,000ft of ascent in just 24 hours of walking time!
Thank you for all your donations and support.
