📚 Nay & Nia’s 24-Hour Readathon 2026 💜

Nay and Nia are back for a second year with our 24-hour readathon, spread across two 12-hour days on 28th & 29th November 2026, raising vital funds for Brain Tumour Research.

On 29th November 2024, just ten days after being rushed to hospital, Nay’s dad, Jimmy, was diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive, incurable grade 4 brain tumour. He was initially given just 12–18 months. We’re incredibly grateful to still have him with us, and every moment together is precious. 💜

Jimmy has always been an avid reader, from The Lord of the Rings to enormous Brandon Sanderson novels! Sadly, his tumour affected the language centre of his brain, temporarily taking away his ability to read. Thankfully, he regained that ability, and seeing him enjoy books again is something we'll never take for granted.

As fellow book lovers, we couldn't think of a more fitting way to honour Jimmy than by bringing our wonderful bookish community together to read, raise awareness and fund research into better treatments and, one day, a cure.
