24th Borstal Scout Group are participating in a card board box sleepout to raise money for Porchlight.

The scouts will spend the evening of 14th July preparing their boxes to sleep in and then spend the night in them. This snapshot of being homeless is aimed to raise their awareness but also to raise vital funds for the charity Porchlight.

Porchlight is Kent’s largest charity for homeless and vulnerable people. They are there for people who have nowhere to go and no-one to turn to. Some are living on the streets, others need support because they are at risk of losing their home.
