Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition and those who need end-of-life care. Its ‘Outstanding’ services are provided free of charge to patients and their families to help make every moment count.

Story

This year, I am taking on the challenge of running two marathons to support the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, an organization that provides invaluable care and comfort to those facing life-limiting illnesses.

I am running in memory of two deeply missed people: my father-in-law, who passed away in March 2025, and my mother, who passed away in June 2025.

Losing both of them within just a few months has been incredibly difficult, but their strength and kindness continue to inspire me every day. By pushing my physical limits through these 52.4 miles, I hope to honour their legacies and raise vital funds for the hospice team that supports families during their most challenging moments.

If you are able to donate, your support will go directly toward ensuring other families receive the same compassion and specialist care that Arthur Rank Hospice is known for. You can contribute via my JustGiving page to help me reach my goal.
