300 miles for St Luke's Hospice

Emma Fleming-Cooney is raising money for St Luke's Hospice Plymouth
In memory of Mum 🌼

Walking 300 miles

St Luke's Hospice Plymouth provides end of life care in Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall. It is the generosity of the caring community and people like you who enable over 300 people and their families at any given time access to this specialist support through the toughest of times.

Story

Update:

My initial goal was to do this in 6 months, however as always, life happens and it has pushed my time frame. My goal now is to just get to 300 miles.

With my new job now being Monday to Friday and my husband working in London during the week is has reduced my time available to the miles in. Alongside a nearly 2 year old it has become a challenge in itself to get out and walk.

Why am I doing this challenge?

300 miles is the distance between my home in Burnley and the hospice in Plymouth that looked after mum last year. The miles will be counted from dedicated walks.

St Luke's provide specialist end of life care and support to people and their families both within the home and in their specialist unit. They were amazing with mum and our family so I wanted to do something to say thank you.

Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated.
