The Million Step Foundation CIC is fundraising for Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service

Sarah Westbury is raising money for Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service

30 Day Million Step Challenge · 1 May 2026

Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service is a local charity that provides specialist care and vital support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire, South Bucks and surrounding counties.

Story

Ryan Hilton, founder of the Million Step Foundation and creator of the 30-Day Million Step Challenge, is raising money for Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice in Maidenhead.

Starting May 1st, Ryan will take on an extraordinary challenge—walking from Maidenhead to the summit of Snowdon. That’s approximately 480 miles in just 30 days, the equivalent of 18 marathons.

While similar challenges are usually spread over 90–100 days, this one is compressed into a single month—pushing both physical endurance and mental strength to the absolute limit.

Every step is for a cause that truly matters. Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice provides vital care, support, and comfort to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Your donation will directly help them continue their incredible work.

Alongside this, a separate crowdfunding page supports the Million Step Foundation CIC—a community interest company dedicated to reinvesting 100% of funds back into the community. This includes initiatives such as sports camps, cooking classes, diabetes awareness, and youth activity groups designed to improve health and wellbeing.

If you can only support one cause, please prioritise donating to Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice.

But if you’re able to give a little more, even just £1, please consider supporting the Million Step Foundation as well.
