365 Sports Challenge for CALM - What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Jacob Vahey is raising money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

365 Sports Challenge

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

Later this year I’m attempting 365 sports in 365 days — yep, one sport a day for a whole year.

Why? To raise money for CALM — a brilliant mental health charity that supports people when life gets overwhelming. It’s a cause that means a lot to me, and I want to help make sure no one has to face things alone.

From football to fencing, kabaddi to curling, I’ll be trying it all - while working a full-time job and probably pulling several muscles along the way.

Before officially kicking off my 365 Sports Challenge, I’m warming up with something a little different - cycling to all 45 of Hull’s rat sculptures! 🐀 This will (hopefully) be a fun way to raise some extra funds and awareness for CALM before the main event begins. And nothing says preparing for 365 sports like chasing fibreglass rats around Hull!

Any follows, shares, or donations are massively appreciated - and stay tuned for some absolute chaos 🤩.
