Dartmouth Community Chest's amazing volunteers are delivering more than 150 cooked meals and 50 food parcels every day during the current Covid 19 crisis to vulnerable adults and families in the Dartmouth area. Please donate to support their work.

Story

Help our volunteers provide more than 150 hot delivered meals and food parcels to those in Dartmouth area who are suffering from food poverty as a result of the Covid 19 crisis.

Last year we lost my beloved aunt Jayne to a form of ovarian cancer – a horrible illness that takes too many women. Jayne was one of those people who was always smiling and helping others – and wearing gorgeous rainbow-bright clothes, usually handmade. As well as tirelessly volunteering cooking and helping vulnerable people in her local community through the Dartmouth Community Chest, she also literally gave people the coat off her back on many occasions, so we thought a clothes fair was the perfect way to remember her and to raise some money for those who are struggling as the weather turns cold, as well as to support research to stop others losing the wonderful women in their lives. Please give what you can and thank you very much indeed.

Thank you for your support,

Jess Connors
