RUNNING FOR DAD
3 Marathons in 3 Days | London to Paris
On June 11th, I’ll be taking on a huge personal challenge. 3 marathons. 3 days. I’ll be doing it alongside the riders taking on the journey from London to Paris, all for my dad, Mark.
Ten years ago, dad organised a team of riders to do London to Paris for charity. During a training ride in 2016, he had a devastating accident and suffered life changing injuries. The Wiltshire Air Ambulance helped save his life that day, and we’ll never forget that. The team decided to honour dad by completing the ride and 40 Riders set out for Paris. They were "Riding For Mark" and raised over £40000 in aid of Great Ormond Street, Mark's chosen charity.
Dad fought incredibly hard for years after his accident, showing more strength than most people could imagine. We sadly lost him in 2025, and this challenge feels like my way of doing something for him, and with him in mind every step of the way.
To mark 10 years since that first ride, the team are riding for Dad again — and I wanted to push myself and be part of it in my own way, so I’ll be running three marathons in three days alongside them.
This time we’re raising money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, because without them, our story could have been very different. They do incredible, lifesaving work and rely on donations to keep doing it.
This challenge is going to hurt, no doubt about that, but it’s nothing compared to what Dad went through and I’ll be thinking of him every step of the way.
If you can donate, no matter how much, I’d be hugely grateful. And if you can share this page, that means a lot too.
I’m running for Dad. And I’d love your support.
Thank you ❤️
