Story
Three Guys. Three Peaks. One Goal: £3,500.
Three friends. Three mountains. One shared mission: to make a real difference.
We’re taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge—climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) within 24 hours—to raise £3,500 for a remarkable charity whose work is changing lives through healthcare and sport.
Mary Verghese Trust supports physical medicine, rehabilitation, and vocational training for individuals with disabilities focusing on rehabilitating people after they have become disabled through sport. Based at CMC Velore the biggest Christian hospital in India we are helping some of the poorest people to have hope and a functional life.
Our fundraising will specifically help provide sports and rehabilitation equipment for survivors of road traffic accidents who are now wheelchair users. The trust funds and manages vocational training programs, mobility aid provisions, and community outreach to help disabled patients regain independence. Sport and physical activity are powerful tools in rehabilitation, helping people rebuild strength, confidence, independence and hope after life-changing injuries. Your support will help give these patients the opportunity to regain not only mobility, but also dignity and quality of life.
This challenge is about far more than climbing three mountains. It’s about standing alongside people facing challenges far greater than our own.We believe that caring for people also means caring for the places we live and the planet we all call home. Together, we can help create a future where compassion, community and care for creation go hand in hand.
Our goal is to raise £3,500 and every donation—no matter the size—will make a genuine difference.
Thank you for supporting our challenge. Every donation, every share and every word of encouragement will help us take one more step towards the summit—and towards changing lives.
Three Guys. Three Peaks. One Goal. Together, let’s make every step count to help others take steps back to life.
