Climbing for Our Friend, Fighting for a Cure

On the 28th June 2025, the seven of us - Jamie, Olivia, Heni, Waheed, Mark, Tammi and myself, will take on the 3 Peaks Challenge - climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales in under 24 hours! It’s going to be brutal. No sleep, aching legs, and sheer exhaustion. But no matter how tough it gets, it’s nothing compared to the fight our beautiful friend, Sally, has been facing.

She has been battling cancer for the past few years with a strength that leaves us in awe. She is fierce, she is determined and she never gives up. This challenge is for her. When we are cold, tired, and doubting ourselves, we’ll think of her determination and push forward - just as she has, every single day.

We’re raising money in her honour for Bowel Cancer UK Charity, a cause that means everything to us. Bowel cancer is one of the most common cancers, yet early detection and research can save lives. More awareness, more funding and better treatments could make all the difference—for our friend and for the thousands of others facing this battle.

We know times are tough, but if you can donate, no matter how small, you’ll be helping to fund vital research and support for those fighting this disease. And if you can’t donate, sharing our story means the world to us too.

This is for Sally, for everyone else affected and for a future where cancer doesn’t get to take the people we love.
