Story
We are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours to honor the life of our best friend, Bradley Corke. A brother, a hero, and someone whose energy, laughter and strength shaped everyone around him. Losing Brad has left a space that can never be filled, but this challenge is our way of carrying him with us, step by step, to the summits he would have conquered with us. Instead of the typical 3 peaks, we will be climbing Ben Nevis, Helvellyn and Snowden.
This is especially meaningful because Helvellyn is a mountain I climbed with Bradley in June 2024. Returning there without him will be incredibly emotional, but it also feels right. It’s a place where we shared memories, laughter, and moments that now mean even more. Climbing it again with his younger brother Nathan is a tribute to the bond they shared and the love Brad had for him.
We will be releasing a lantern at the top of each mountain, a symbol of Bradley’s light, which continues to guide us even in the darkest moments. Each lantern will be a thank you, and a promise that he will never be forgotten.
We are also raising money for Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex, a charity that now holds a very personal place in our hearts. When Bradley was involved in a car accident whilst on duty, the air ambulance team gave him the chance to fight. Because of them, his family and friends were able to say goodbye. A gift we will always be grateful for. Supporting this charity is our way of honoring the people who gave us those precious final moments.
Bradley was more than my best friend. He was my role model and a hero to his brother Nathan, he was someone who always put others before himself. This challenge is for him! to celebrate his life, to honor his courage, and to keep his memory alive.
