Story
In June 2026, I’ll be taking on one of the toughest endurance challenges I’ve ever attempted — climbing the UK’s three highest mountains while cycling around 500 miles between them.
I’m doing it to raise money for the Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation, an organisation I’m incredibly proud to work for and one that makes a genuine difference across Teesside every single day.
The challenge involves completing the National Three Peaks Challenge by climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. However, instead of driving between the mountains like most participants, I’ll be cycling the journey — covering approximately 500 miles on the bike before tackling each climb.
Working for the Foundation means I see first-hand the positive impact it has across Teesside. From supporting young people in education, to improving physical and mental health, to helping people back into employment, the work being done in our communities is truly inspiring.
Teesside is a place full of pride, resilience and community spirit, and this challenge is my way of giving something back and helping the Foundation continue its incredible work.
It will be physically demanding, mentally tough and at times uncomfortable — but knowing the money raised will help support people across our region will keep me going.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it will make a real difference.
Thank you for your support — it genuinely means a lot.
