In March 2022 we lost a great friend in Ben Clay. Ben was truly unique and the outpouring of love and support shown following his passing was a real testament to the brilliant man he was. Ben was a passionate family man and took great pride in sharing the joys of his children, Isaac and Tilly.

Tilly was born with a rare genetic disorder and in 2021 Ben set up a charity - SCN8A UK & Ireland - to provide support to children and adults with SCN8A and their families. The charity is embarking on a huge fundraising effort this year to support a European research project with the aim of providing effective treatments for SCN8A.

So, what started as just an idea over lunch (and a little bit of wine), has now become a reality, and the 8 of us have set about training for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. This is a huge challenge for us, with over 1600m of ascent and 39km distance, all to be accomplished in 12 hours.

Please dig deep and help continue Ben's amazing charity work.
