Hi,

We are Phoebe, Edie, Becca, Hannah and Maddie and we are all students in Year 12. We have collectively decided to lace up our walking boots and climb the 3 peaks in July. We will start with Ben Nevis, the tallest peak at 1345m (4,413 ft), followed by Scafell Pike at 978 m (3,209 ft) and finally, Snowdon at 1085m (3,560ft). While we aim to climb all the peaks in a combined total of 24 hours, the climbs are spread out over a week as we fly to Scotland on the 22nd of July and aim to be back home on the 28th.

We have decided to support Chestnut Tree House, Sussex, as they are local to home and having seen the impact that having a child with a terminal illness can have on the whole family, we have decided to donate any money raised to them.

Chestnut Tree House is a children’s charity providing hospice care and community support for children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.

There are hundreds of children and young people in your local community who are unlikely to reach adulthood. And even more parents and family members who need care, help and support on their journey, as they don't know how long they will have together. Your support helps families to spend time together. Precious moments that give a lifetime of memories.
