Danielle Parker is raising money for Friends of St Nicholas School

St Nicholas 3 Peaks Challenge · 23 May 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

28 Volunteers. 3 Peaks. 24 Hours. We're taking on the UK's toughest challenge to raise £20'000 for a vital new playground at St Nicholas Special School. Help us move mountains for our children

Story

On May 22nd, instead of working or chilling out with my dog Roman I will be crammed into a minibus to take part in the National 3 Peaks Challenge!

I work at St Nicholas Special School for children with complex learning needs, I have worked here for just over a year and I have met some amazing children and people in that time!

The kids love their playground but it’s in need of some R&R so we are raising funds to help build a new, updated sensory playground for them all to enjoy! Our goal is £20,000 and I would love to help towards this!

Myself and a group of other staff members/family/friends are going to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours.

3,000m of climbing, 462 miles of driving, and possibly no sleep!

Transparency on Funds: To ensure safety, we have hired professional guides. Please note that a small portion of funds raised will go towards these essential event costs, but the vast majority goes directly to the school project.

My target is £1,000. Please donate to support this amazing cause, every little helps :)

Thank you & wish us all luck,

Danielle 🫶🏻
