Story
This challenge is huge for me, not only is it a personal challenge, like nothing I've ever attempted before. But the cause is so close to our hearts, St Nicholas School have supported not only our amazing Matthew but also us as a family. Matthew has enjoyed everyday, feeling loved and cared for by the fantastic staff. Matthew is now in the sixth form, learning life and living skills to enable him to live his best life.
On May 22nd, 2026, instead of decorating/eating cake, I will be crammed into a minibus to attempt the National 3 Peaks Challenge.
The Mission: Climb the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) in just 24 hours.
That means 3,000m of climbing, 462 miles of driving, and zero sleep.
The Cause: I’m doing this for St Nicholas Special School. For children with complex learning needs, a playground is a vital outdoor classroom. Right now, theirs is tired and inaccessible. They need a safe, sensory space, and I want to help build it.
Transparency on Funds: To ensure safety, we have hired professional guides. Please note that a small portion of funds raised will go towards these essential event costs, but the vast majority goes directly to the school project.
My target is £1,000. Please donate to support this amazing cause (and pity my poor feet!).
Thank you!
