Story
Last year I had the silly idea to undertake the IBC 1000 miles in 24 hours in aid of YFW Bloodbikes.
As word got around and others showed interest, it ended with 7 of us in all taking part and we raised collectively over £6,000 for the charity.
Following the success we decided to do a similar event this year, however, not as many people were as keen to undertake such a challenge, which I understand why with how painful my own butt was following this challenge.
With only 4 of us willing to put ourselves back through the pain we experienced the first time around, we decided to this time take on a different endurance challenge the IBC 4-corners.
The IBC 4 Corners is a gruelling challenge that will see myself and the rest of the team covering in excess of 1400-miles visiting the four furthest points of the UK (Lowestoft, Lands End, St. David and John O'Groats) withing 36 hours.
Much like last years challenge, this will be done on my own motorbike with all costs incurred covered by myself.
It is going to be painful and a real test of endurance once again, so please do not let it be for nothing, especially as this is not being done for fun or leisure, but as a testament to the unwavering dedication of the selfless volunteers like myself at YFW Bloodbikes and other blood bikers around the UK.
So please make a donation, it doesn't matter how small as it all adds up and allows the charities fleet of bikes and cars remain in a serviceable and fuelled state of readiness to answer those urgent calls from our local NHS services.
Thank You
