4-Peak Challenge in aid of Yorkshire Cat Rescue · 17 June 2023

Yorkshire Cat Rescue exists to save the lives of abandoned or unwanted cats and kittens across Yorkshire and beyond. YCR operates a no-kill policy and neuters all cats and kittens before rehoming. YCR receives no central funding and has to fundraise to meet its vet, food and heating bills etc.

Story

The 4-Peak Challenge is part of Forseti Fundraising's 'Wainwright Challenge Series'

In 2023, hikers will take to the Lake District once again - this time to raise awareness and funds in aid of Yorkshire Cat Rescue. The challenge will take the hikers over 8.5 miles of mountain terrain and reach 4 of the 'Wainwright' peaks (including Helvellyn, England's third highest mountain).

Please donate to support and also encourage the participants of the challenge! Leave a message when you donate if you are supporting someone in particular.

But who are Yorkshire Cat Rescue?

Yorkshire Cat Rescue makes unwanted cats wanted!

Every year they accept hundreds of cats and kittens that have been thrown away. They make sure they are well, stop them making babies and then find them loving forever homes.

As a local charity they have to raise every penny themselves.

Your donation will help save furry lives.
