As part of a list of challenges named in our 40 before 40 list, a long coastal walk was one of them!

We then decided that if we were going to challenge ourselves then we should do it for an amazing cause and bring some friends along for the ride (or walk we should say).

Cancer affects so many lives, including those of family, friends and co-workers, some of who we have sadly lost.

Right now, more than 3 million people are living with cancer in the UK. By 2030 this figure will rise to 4 million.

Macmillan are there to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, by providing physical, financial and emotional support. They will do whatever it takes, no matter what a person's needs are, they will listen and support them however they need — big or small.

In September 2025, we have challenged ourselves to take on the Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

We would be so grateful if you could help us reach our £1250 pledge, (£250 per team member) which can pay for a Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
