Two years ago I undertook a 36 hour preaching challenge to raise vital funds for the work of Advance globally which was impacting 83 nations with over 70,000 people journeying in groups each month. Amazingly, since then, and thanks to your generous support, we have seen the movement grow into 104 nations around the world with over 300,000 people meeting in Advance groups each month through which we have seen more than 400,000 decisions for Christ in the last twelve months!
To support this remarkable growth, and to move towards our target of over half a million people each month growing in evangelistic intentionality by the end of 2026, I am seeking your help again.
As the movement has grown, so will the preaching challenge. This time I'm adding another six hours (help!) to the endurance challenge, as I preach through the gospel of John and the letters of James and Jude.
The Target
It costs just £12 to launch an Advance group, through which believers lives can be transformed for gospel advancement into their community and context.
What we have experienced is a miracle! We had 21 members in our church before Advance, so we divided into 3 groups. Three months since we started we have grown to 59 members in our church! Thank you for bringing us Advance and opening our eyes to the gospel in such an impactful way! Ps. Ntende, Ndola, Zambia.
I am hoping to raise at least £15,000 through this endeavour which would allow us to do the following:
- Enable 10,000 people to begin their Advance journey.
- Translate the material into Serbian and equip believers in Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo with access to Advance in their heart language, as well as six other nations where Serbian is spoken.
In Porto, Aline gave her life to Christ at an evangelistic outreach led by a local Advance group. Her family were so impacted by the change in her life that one by one they all gave their lives to Jesus, and there are now three separate Advance groups being led by different members of that family!
