The Challenge

In September 2025, I’ll be running 4 x 10K runs in 4 different countries in just one day - Ireland, Wales, England, and Scotland - to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The route:

🚩 Start in Ireland at sunrise for run #1

🚢 Ferry to Wales for run #2

🚗 Drive to Scotland for run #3

🏃 Finish in England before sunset for run #4

All in a single day. No crew. 40 kilometres. 4 countries. (And in an electric car!)

Why am I doing this?

Our beautiful baby boy was born prematurely at home, and thanks to the incredible emergency services, he was rushed to Hull NICU. In those first three weeks, he underwent cooling therapy, six blood transfusions, three rounds of platelets, multiple courses of antibiotics for suspected sepsis, MRI and brain scans, morphine, and much more.

We saw first-hand the dedication and life-saving care the NICU team gave our tiny, vulnerable boy. They saved his life.

Today he’s thriving – something we’ll be forever grateful for, knowing not every family gets the same chance.
