Founded in 2003, Occtopus, or the Oxford Colon Cancer Trust charity, is a leading Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Colorectal Cancer charity. We pioneer new treatments and research for colorectal cancer, colitis and Crohn’s and influence how they are treated across the NHS.

Story

We are five school mums who have decided to lace up our trainers and take on this challenge together to raise money for the Oxford Colon Cancer Trust.

Like many families, we know how devastating bowel cancer can be. It is one of the most common cancers in the UK, affecting thousands of people every year. The Oxford Colon Cancer Trust does incredible work to support research, improve treatment, and provide vital equipment and resources to the colorectal team at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

By running together, we hope to raise funds that will make a real difference to patients and their families across Oxfordshire and beyond.

We are juggling school runs, work, family life, and training miles, but we are committed to crossing the finish line for this fantastic cause. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help the Trust continue its life-changing work.

Please support us if you can and help us make every step count.

Thank you so much for your generosity and encouragement!
