Emmett's Genies long-term goal is to have a "wish village" that provides critically ill children and their families with accommodation that is full of magic and wonder, where nothing is too much and where imagination is the start.

Story

HIGH FIVE & £5 FOR 5 YEARS!

Charity inspiration, Emmett and his friend and wonderful charity Ambassador Dan met each other during the most difficult time in their young lives.

2 & a half year old Emmett had been diagnosed with stage iv germ cell cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy when he met 11 year old Dan who had recently been diagnosed with Burketts Lymphoma and was also going through chemotherapy.

Emmett & Dan were often in hospital together, be that in Oxford or Stoke Mandeville. And although their oncology experience was very different it being's people together.

Emmett was given remission status on 11th March 2019 and Dan was given remission status on 15h March. On 16th March they are celebrating together with friends, family and the amazing healthcare professionals who have been there for us.

Rather than gifts, they would love to add to their legacy, spread the charity name and raise some much needed funds for their own charity so that we can continue to make many other children going through a similar experience to them, smile, have fun, make memories and make the most of every moment. Please consider donating to their remission fundraiser.

---------

Emmett's Genies have a long-term goal to have a fairytale "wish village" that provides critically ill children and their families with a once-in-a-lifetime experience; a purpose built village where imagination comes to life in accommodation that is far away from the hospital settings these children have become so used to.

In the interim we are creating an app that children can access during treatment, to use their imaginations to help design the eventual village.
